About Kladdatir Welcome to the Kladdatir Wolf pack web page. We are a semi realistic, literate paragraph style wolf pack roleplay dedicated to the spirit of family based not on a forum, wetpaint or wolfhome setting but instead, Internet Relay Chat IRC Channels. What does that mean We use a chat room for our roleplay which allows for real time roleplay without having to refresh all the time. Kladdatir is not just a game for many of us, it is a second family. We create real, lasting bonds here, both in and out of character. Many of our members have been together for years, and yet we still maintain an open, welcoming atmosphere for those who are new to join in. You may wonder how we came up with Kladdatir. It is a play on two terms, that translates roughly to Family of Wolves. Claddagh An Irish symbol for love, loyalty and family. As well as strong family ties and alliances. Mactire - Gaelic for Wolf How the pack is run Our pack is led by its Council, a high ranking group of wolves that, together, discuss and deliberate all matters of pack business. All decisions are based off a majority rule. That way, all decisions are made in favor of the pack vs the desires of a single wolfperson. The pack as a whole is often asked to vote on any major changes before they occur. In the spirit of family, every voice is heard and every voice is important. We have a Bot programmed non-character players that keep track of our overall health, and assist in activities such as hunting, fishing, and sparring. We maintain our health through actions that are roleplayed out in character and can be wounded during hunts. This all allows for more realistic roleplay while still being mostly free form within some guidelines. Our Mission To provide a safe, fun, and interesting roleplay environment, that allows its players connect with their inner wolf and to set the stage for a spiritual journey for both the player and character to grow and develop.
