NEW RP SITE ------------------------------------- The Plot So Far: Twelve months ago on the planet Terra a cataclysmic event almost ended all life on the planet. A research company known simply as R7 (Research Seven) had been creating immoral experiments beneath the surface of the planet in their underground facility which only had one entrance which was hidden in the Badlands, a desert so dry and barren that not a single life form could live out there for more than a few days before starving and becoming dehydrated. R7 had been experimenting with many different theories in every possible field of science including genetic splicing and manipulation of genes. Along with this immoral gene splicing project they had also been working on teleportation, the technology was going to be sold to the military as hardware to fuel the wars between countries. Whilst testing this new teleportation technology something went horribly wrong. The singularity became unstable and entities never seen before started randomly appearing all over the facility cause mass panic and for good reason. The beings that had appeared in the facility were not of Terran origin. in fact they were from a whole other dimension. The creatures were of low sentience and only knew how to exist just like normal animals, which meant to hunt and eat to survive. This led to many of the staff in the facility being simply devoured by creatures on their way to escape. Within minutes of these creatures appearing the CEO of R7 called for outside intervention and help which resulted with the military quarantining off the facility and trying to retake it. This meant that the military had to delve into the depth of the overwhelmed facility. Spearheading the operation was Andrew Berrendow who had taken personal interest in the distress call as his wife and child were in the facility when the Incursion had happened. Andrew believed that if anyone was to stop the creatures from appearing and save his family it would be him. Whilst Andrew battle downward he had no idea what he was about to stumble into. A whole wing dedicated to genetic mutation. Hundreds and thousands of mutated humans from the genetic experiments who had been freed as the power in the wing had gone down allowing all experiments to be released. Andrew knew that his team could not handle such a delicate matter so he asked his close friend for help, Eflion Tafcor. Eflion Tafcor, just like R7 was in the research and development business however he was strongly opposed to military implementation of science and had very strong morals when it came to research for anything technology or biological. Tafcor of course could not turn down the opportunity to help Andrew and came to his aid. Tafcor brought along as many transport vehicles as possible and set up make shift refugee camps until he could figure out a better way of protecting not only the people of Terra but also the mutants who he was giving safety and protection from the outside world. With Tafcor heading the refugee operations Andrew was able to move deeper into the facility whilst the experiments were evacuated safely. Deep within the facility Andrew found what he was looking for, the teleportation machine and his family. His wife was trying to shut down the machine whilst his daughter was locked safely in the room which overlooked the experiments. Andrew quickly went to save his daughter however as he did so something went wrong as his wife tried to shut down the machine. The singularity started to suck towards itself allowing Andrew’s wife to fall inside whilst he saved his only daughter from the room which she had been locked in. With no idea on how to stop the machine Andrew asked for Tafcor’s help once again as he had no other way of being able to stop the machine without the help of someone with much more knowledge of the matters at hand. After a long few minutes of instructions Andrew was able to turn of the teleportation machine however in doing so he had lost his wife in god only knows where. Although Andrew had lost his wife however he had managed to save the planet and his daughter along with the lives of all those who were still alive trapped inside the facility making him the bravest and strongest man on the planet. Topside of the incident Tafcor had already started taking down applications of everyone that had been rescued, this allowed Tafcor to keep track of everyone who he would be soon sending to well-built refugee camps in the near future. The applications were from anyone that was found exiting the facility. From scientists to civilians, from security guards all the way to mutants, everyone had to sign an application form. These forms were then stored on Tafcor’s central server so all of his employees and workers could see what needed to be built/ bought in the way of infrastructure. Present day… Twelve months after the near destruction of the planet much has changed. Terra is now run by one council rather than multiple governments. Tafcor had fought for the right of the mutated experiments to not only to be freed but also to be renamed as “Abnormals” so that they did not feel out of place in society. Tafcor’s company had built structures allowing for Abnormals to have safe homes, huge apartment complexes built to sustain the new influx of refugees after the events of the incursion along with so many other facilities around the areas of these new apartment complexes. Metro City where the Headquarters of Tafcor’s company known as Tafcor Industries was based but now also where all the new apartment complexes and other facilities had been built allowing for integration of Abnormals into normal human society including allowing Abnormals to go to school, have work or do anything else that normal humans were already allowed. Although the world was saved by Andrew Berrendow this didn’t spell the end for evil or just people who were generally not very nice, crime is at an all-time high all over the planet, a new drug that was designed to affect Abnormals for recreational use. Not to mention reports that strange dark figures have been trying to convince Abnormals to come work for them under a new corporate giant called “Lazarus” who seems to be very interested in everything that transpired the day of the incursion. With this new corporate giant in the midst a military manufacture ways to detain Abnormals, trying to work everything into one prototype however has proven difficult and they have yet to come up with a sufficient design that could tackle all the known abilities Abnormals have acquired making them at this point rather useless in detaining any criminal activity run by Abnormals. Because of this the Government set up a new squad of defense workers known as “Abnormal Task Force” a group of Abnormals handpicked by the government alongside Eflion Tafcor to defend the planet against any sort of danger from Abnormals or anything else too hard for a normal human to deal with. With all the commotion about all these new companies and groups running through society Andrew Berrendow has decided to try a new way to take everyone’s minds of all the issues that have been starting to appear by hosting the first WFT (World Fighting Tournament) which will run annually and has multiple stages allowing anyone and everyone that thinks they have what it takes to fight in the tournament for the prize. With all this new struggling it will only be a matter of time before the whole world changes…
